My brother-in-law is doing one in the UK. He is doing classes, as he finds that it gives him valuable contacts and the ability to network with people that would otherwise be difficult to meet or connect with. The lecturors are also an inspiration to him and they get in ultra successful entrepeneurs and business leaders to speak which is far better than reading premeditated academic notes. I know how convenient distance ed can be. I’ve just done my Grad. Cert that way and loved it. It depends on what you ultimately want out of your MBA. A piece of paper and formulas; or relationships, contacts and motivational speaking. It also depends on what type of learner you are. Do you learn better by reading; or are you better listening, asking questions and interacting with visual aids etc. Either way, you get the piece of paper which is essentially what employers want. Good luck with your MBA.
