Can you get financial aid, specifically grants for online courses?
I planned to return back to college in January but due to health related issues decided to wait till the fall. I would like to get started now working towards my bachelors degree. I have 1 year under my belt and would be a sophomore when I return? I have not been in school in years and I thought online courses would also get me into the groove of things better. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I am currently in my sophmore year in an online college. I recieve financial aid. I have three children that has stopped me from attending a traditional college so that is why I have opted for online.
Absolutely…they do not discriminate against online schools. Go to http://www.fafsa.ed.gov and apply. They qualify you for Pell Grants (need based) and Student Stafford loans (not need based at all) They have an 800 number posted on their site to assist you with questions, or call any school you are interested in and they can help.
