FORGET about an on-line business until you have a fixed site running profitably and you wish to
augment it. 99% of all on line biz’s that do not have a fixed site too earn no profit.

I’m only 17 but I’m figuring out the same thing. I’m taking an Entrepreneurship class in my high school and it’s helpful. It’s proven people will be willing to make what they’re interested in. What do you like? Figure out what you like and how you can make it appeal to others. Once you figure out what you want to make, do research on it to see if the product/service is out there. If it is, look into competition, see what they have and what they’re missing and why customers may not be satisfied with them. Once you know your target market (age group), product, competition, focus on how your target market will react. Conduct a survey, even if it’s on YA!. Take those results, and come up with a business plan. Business plans can get to be VERY long but on wikihow, I actually found an article on how to write a business plan. After that, see where it takes you. If you go to a bank to take a loan and such, they may want to see your plan. It’s complicated, but these are the basic steps. You also may want to look into the psychology of advertising and stuff that way you can appeal to a large crowd. I hope I helped a little! Good luck!
Sounds like a stupid idea.
You will surely fail.
