Why is no one hiring me?
I am really starting to get discouraged about finding employment. I recently graduated with my bachelor's in August and can't find anything. I've sent out what seem like hundreds of applications online and only about 3 call backs with interviews. Out of those interviews of course I wasn't hired. I have good employment back ground of office administration for 6 years from working at a hotel while I was going to college. I have a degree, I dress and look nice. I speak well, and believe the interviews went well. What could be the deal?

First off, it’s not your fault. The problem is that there are millions of Americans looking for jobs right now and very few jobs to fill.
I’d suggest seeing what types of placement / job search services your university has at your disposal.
the economy…..
When they interviewed you, they probably also interviewed a bunch of others. Sometimes they already know who they’re going to hire even before they even do the interviews, but they have to do it as a formality.
You might try a temporary service. Those often lead to permanent jobs.
The job market is tight. On line apps are somewhat less than a dime a dozen. Try networking. Talk to everyone you know ask them what companies they know are even possibly hiring. Talk with your old bosses. Is there anything in the hotel or hospitality or resort or convention business even remotely connected to your degree? How about a visitors bureau? Can your former boss introduce you to anyone in these fields? Read the trade papers and sites constantly. Who is opening a new site, expanding? Write a formal letter – not an on line app to the head of that organization. Consider going through a temporary employment agency for any type office or administrative work. These can lead to full time and meanwhile they pay. Consider starting your own business providing administrative services to small and mid size businesses who can not afford to add to staff but still need to get work done. Use your computer skills to design a nice brochure and charge approximately $1 or 2 an hour over what the position would pay if you were their employee. Be absolutely sure to use a written contract that says exactly what you will do for them and what they are to do and in most cases you should get a small good faith deposit unless you know the business owners personally and can afford to work in the hope not assurance of pay. Your billing should be weekly with a discount for immediate payment. I did something like that in marketing and found I preferred working for myself even when the job offer came. Most businesses do prefer to hire someone who is working.
