No. When they are looking at extracurricular activities they are not looking for stuff that puts you in a better financial position. They are looking for things that build character. Sports show you are interested in personal improvement and teamwork, showing they have experience working with others. Volunteer work shows you are interested in more than just yourself and have empathy for others, another quality they are looking for. Campaign experience might count, but volunteer work looks best on a resume or college application, because it is the best as a character builder and shows you aren’t self absorbed.

Nope. They are normally looking for a group activity or something that is seen as helping the community.
Political campagning i would say yes. Ebay definitely not
no not really, and volunteers aren’t losers because they care about other people more than you do so ur the loser. but saying u run an online busniess could help if ur tryin to get into college
Guess what? Working for a political campaign is volunteering. Does that make you a loser?
I’m not sure that selling stuff on eBay really counts as anything. If you are spending a significant amount of time on it (at least several hours a week) then you might be able to put it down as a job (self-employed).
And working for a legitimate political campaign is an extracurricular activity. I doubt that blogging would count unless you were doing an official blog for a campaign.
Now, even if you can’t list these things as extracurriculars, you can still write about them in your essay if you want to. A lot of essay prompts have to deal with what kinds of things you do or are personally interested in, so if this blog has been a significant part of your life you may as well write about it.
