    You might want to look into your school’s/community college’s policies for dual enrollment. You may be able to sign up for a course and get the credits to apply not only to college but also to high school. My daughter is taking college composition right now and she is getting credit toward both. Her course is held during the school day. Since you need extra opportunities to make up credits, see if you can take the course in the evening, in addition to a normal course load or even during the summer. Our cost was about $130 for a year’s worth of composition I and II with the dual enrollment program. She had to take a placement test and score high enough to be accepted to get in.

    It is free for all Florida residents. Info on the costs per course can be found on the site if you do not reside in Florida.

    their online high school program is fairly affordable, and they offer some scholarships
