Is there a decent online college out there for math and science courses?

I'd like to take some basic math and science courses online that would transfer over to attending a real university later on for a bachelors in physics.

I've searched a plethora of online colleges. I havent found a single one that has a course legitimately related to math and science. They are all some strange ridiculous offshoot of math and science. ie. mathematical social sciences or organizational management biology.

Has anyone actually taken a real mathematics class online or science class? Or do they even exist at all on these online colleges?

Are there any major universities that offer online degrees?

Ok here is the thing, I am not interested in something like University of Phoenix or any other school that ONLY offers online degrees. I have asked my boss, my mother in law who runs her own business and my Aunt that owns her own community college and all three said they do not take candidates with degrees from schools that only offer online classes serious. I already have my degree in acounting and I was finishing up my bachelors in Human Resource but now I have to move from Ohio to California. It seems like most of the major California Universities are not letting me transfer my credits from my current University, so I am hoping I can find a major university that offers all online courses that I can get to transfer at least half of my credits.

So does anyone know any major Universities be they ivy league, private or state run that offer all online programs?

What questions should I ask myself and my advisor when I am looking for an online college. I am thinking about going to Herzing University, California Coast University or The University of Phoenix. All online of course. If you have a better online college that you could recommend I would greatly appreciate it. Expect for Ashford University because everybody is saying it is a rip off school. Thanks!

I forgot to mention that right now I am looking to get my associates degree in health care administration. I will move on to bachelors then masters after that. I graduate high school this June.

University of Phoenix online courses, will I get a good job?

I'am currently taking online courses at the University of Phoenix for an Associates Degree in Sports Management. I know the Associates degree isnt going to get me a great job but is this a waste of time? My plan is to get a bachelors in the same field, maybe not from the University of Phoenix but probably an online program (I'am a father and full-time employee). What do employers in the field I'am looking at think of online degrees.

most online schools are really respected. but i dont think there is a way for me to actually attend a college for this. are there any schools that offer this degree online? if they are strictly online schools are there any that are alright and somewhat respected?

Has anyone attended Axia college online? and were you able to use your degree?

I have been taking classes with them for a while now. I backed out this last time do to personal issues and I was starting to pay them back the money I owed them. Then my counselor called and said I put you back in class and this is when you start. I have had nothing but problems with them, and I was suppose to be getting my degree for Billing and coding and yet its like health care administration and none of the courses that I have taken can put me into that field. I feel so stressed out as what I am suppose to do. I have to finish up Mat 116 and then take the next algebra class to be finished and their already trying to set me up for my Bachelors which I do not wish to obtain from there. I am lucky if I can ever talk to anyone, or if they will cal back or email back.

So have any of you who went to school here been able to use your degree? was your degree for what you wanted? Did you have any trouble while you attended there? and would you recommended this school to anyone else? I just feel like for as much as I owe lenders and DOE I could have went to a real school and been done by now and actually feel confident with all the work I have done.
Coach T- I understand where you are coming from. When I enroled in the school I didn't lok around it sounded great to me. as time as passed I realized this is such a mistake. I do not want to be in class any longer. I would perfer to pay them back and pay loans back and be done. I have been through so many counselors and financial aid people that I don't know what to do anymore. I'm just lost and when I signed up I understood my degree was for billing and coding and as time passed I realized its nt even something thats offered. So my dumb mistake for believing people and jumping into something I knew nothing about. Now I'm in debt and gotta pay it back and in the end I get nothing. Thanks for your response.

Help me choose my college/career path – Nursing ?

I’m double majoring in Business Administration and Communications in University of Phoenix online and plan to graduate with two Bachelors’ in the summer of 2010. I am also interested in nursing school, but have to choose from two options.

Option 1:

Instead of doubling up on University of Phoenix courses I will take one course at a time and go to a community college to get my associates in RN. Because I will be taking one course at a time at University of Phoenix I will graduate with two Bachelors’ and receive my associates in Nursing in 2011. This option means I will be dealing with the nursing school load and the University of Phoenix load at the same time, which will be quite stressful at times.

Option 2:

Double up on my University of Phoenix online courses in order to graduate with two Bachelors’ in 2010. I will then apply to an accelerated BSN program (particularly Rutgers since I live in New Jersey) and receive a third Bachelors’ in nursing within a little over a year from starting the program. This way I can focus on the University of Phoenix load without being distracted by being in a nursing program and afterwards, I can dedicate myself to the accelerated BSN program without the distraction coming from the University of Phoenix load.

Which option do you think is the best and more realistic? I have a 3.7 GPA in University of Phoenix online. Can I work as an RN with only a BSN?

Your advice is much appreciated.

Can anyone recommend a good online college?

I'm a very busy person so I really do not have time to go back to school to finish my degree. I've heard quite a few people talk about how they finished their degrees online so, I'm curious. Now the tough part is, where do I go? I need some recommendations as to which online school would be the best and would fit my needs. I tried contacting a few online schools but, it became more of a hassle then an easy going process. Once you give them your phone number they call you constantly and insist on you giving your whole life story and making a commitment on their time. I really don't like feeling pressured into enroll at a school I know nothing about. I would rather like to feel that I made that choice for myself. So, here's the skinny. I'm looking for an online school that offers a course for a bachelors in human services (social work) and human resource administration. Can anyone recommend any sites? Help!

How do I apply in a University for a Major and a Minor?

I want to apply for a major in IT and a minor in Business Administration in York University. Does that mean I apply twice,once in each course or what? I also have to send out my results, do I send two copies each for each course?I am applying online so I am not sure how I do it?
