This is what happened:
I am a residential cleaning business owner. Three months ago I decided to sign up with ServiceMagic to get some leads. Since this was not working as I expected I terminated their services after a month.
Well, today I was googling the name of my company (just wanted to check what appeared in the web) and noticed that my business' name that appeared listed in the local google pages and the Service Magic profile, that was supposed to be deleted, were still there under this company's contact information. You know what I mean? It was my Company's Name and Profile but instead showing my phone number it showed theirs.
To make matters worst, a current customer called me and said he referred a friend to set an appoinment with us but he was unable to do so. Well, guess what? He typed the name of my company in Google and found us in the local business, when he entered the web page it happened to have ServiceMagic number and was told by a representative that my company did not serve his area and recommended a different company that was nearby and, of course, in business with ServiceM. I was taken by surprise! Can you imagine??? Someone was looking for my business and ended being directed to a different telephone number that has nothing to do with ours and also be referred to a competitor.
I want to take legal action immediately and don't know exactly how to start. If someone looks for my business online because of our reputation "well gained" and end finding ServiceMagic number I am in serious trouble again. I will lose this prospect due to this @#$$! Help Please!

Felony background qualifications checks are executed additional and far more every day to get a broad wide variety of causes. The most typical reason is for job. Employers are becoming far more rigid about who they hire, specially in these economic times, and desire to know who it can be they are hiring ahead of they offer you any positions. Individual causes are also a big purpose that foundation checks are done. With the accessibility of foundation checks currently, people are conducting background checks on anyone in their everyday living.
It is critical to know exactly what is for the background of all people around you. You don't would like to set your little one inside arms of an individual that could likely harm them! You can not watch everyone you already know all the time, so the sole real way to discover out the sort of life anyone lives is by hunting at their background. Qualifications reports currently now contain a lot in excess of just legal background. Several features of an person's civil existence are recorded on track record reviews. The far more dependable track record examine products and services even present other attributes too, like reverse telephone number look-up.
Thorough occupation screening qualifications checks gained recognition in the wake of really publicized stories about organizations that have been ruined by no other mistake, than the 'simple' failure to perform through pre-employment track record look at. Besides the obvious and extensively acknowledged cases of employees with felony tendencies organizing items like robberies towards their employers, much more alarming were the situations of corporate espionage carried out by means of 'employees' who turned out to be competitor's moles; a potentially chilling occurrence in some organizations - specifically those within the 'knowledge industry' exactly where the leakage of tiny bits of information can have really key impacts on the bottom-lines.
Naturally, occupation screening track record checks have not been without having critics. You will discover all those, for example, who feel that such background checks are likely to judge folks by their past, whilst not taking cognizance of the truth that individuals change with time. There may also be individuals see the potential for the occupation screening qualifications checks becoming abused as a way to deny otherwise deserving employment candidates opportunities that they worked for. But provided the potential dangers towards the organization of hiring the wrong forms of persons, several human resource managers are opting to reside with this criticism and retain on with employment screening background checks - simply because really frankly, you possibly can certainly not be too cautious with regards to checking towards the entry of hazardous persons into your corporate household.
It is critical to learn just what is about the background of everybody around you. You usually do not desire to put your child within the arms of somebody that could possibly harm them! You can not observe everybody you already know each of the time, so the only true way to find out the kind of existence an individual lives is by shopping at their background. Track record records right now now comprise very much more than just felony heritage. Many aspects of your person's civil everyday living are recorded on background records. The additional reputable qualifications look at products and services even offer you other functions likewise, like reverse cell phone amount look-up.
The most common sources for criminal track record checks are exclusive sector felony historical past databases and screening solutions. To get a fee, registered users may perhaps execute a database research based on community records which offers every thing from driver's license heritage to felony convictions. Background screening providers are also accessible; these solutions make use of databases and in-person records checks to deliver details to their customers. Private individuals may also carry out direct searches of public court documents, although not all info is accessible on the basic community.
